Amman, April 7 (Petra) – Kuwaiti armed forces intercepted and dealt with 17 hostile drones over the past 24 hours, with no reported casualties or material damage, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence announced on Tuesday.
According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the ministry’s spokesperson, Colonel Saud Atwan, told journalists that the Ground Force Engineering’s Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit handled 15 incidents during the same period, following approved procedures.
Atwan said that the armed forces would continue to carry out their duties with high efficiency and vigilance, maintaining constant readiness to safeguard national security.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior stated that its explosive disposal teams responded to 59 reports of falling debris resulting from interception operations, bringing the total number of such reports since the start of the Iranian escalation to 758.
