Beirut, May 21 (QNA) – HE President of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon General Joseph Aoun met on Thursday with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Lebanon Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, along with ways to support and strengthen them, as well as the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
HE the Lebanese President expressed, during the meeting, his appreciation for the State of Qatar’s continued support to Lebanon.
For his part, HE the Ambassador reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s steadfast commitment to standing by Lebanon and its keenness on its stability. (QNA)
