Beirut, July 14 (QNA) – Lebanon has condemned the repeated attacks on Gulf states and Jordan, the latest ones being the two assaults on Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
In a statement by the Lebanese Presidency, Gen. Joseph Aoun said these hostilities are multi-source exposed attempts, targeting not only the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia and the targeted nations, but also methodically intending to undermine the stability of the Arab Gulf region.
These assaults are meant to make the entire region live in a permanent situation of tension and disquieting, serving plots that don’t want goodness for the Arab peoples, Aoun added.
He stressed that Lebanon stands side by side with all Arab Gulf nations and Jordan, reemphasizing that their security is part and parcel of Arab national security. (QNA)
