Mafraq, Aug. 3 (Petra) — The Greater Mafraq Municipality and Al
al-Bayt University on Monday launched a training initiative to
support the operation of a new digital television service under the
North Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), as part of efforts to equip
young people and entrepreneurs with digital media and content
creation skills.
The program is being implemented in partnership with Al al-Bayt
University’s Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
and the university’s radio station, according to a municipal
statement.
The opening day featured introductory sessions on the fundamentals of
television production, directing and filming, as well as
presentations showcasing successful experiences in film and
television production.
Over the coming days, participants will undergo intensive training
covering television production, digital content creation, filming,
directing, podcast production and presentation, and video editing,
with the aim of preparing them to operate the digital television
service efficiently.
The municipality said the initiative is designed to create a
specialized training environment that enables young participants to
produce professional media content while fostering creativity and
innovation in line with the growing digital transformation of the
media sector.
The training team will continue delivering practical sessions on
digital production and content development ahead of the launch of the
service, which is intended to help entrepreneurs and members of the
local community produce professional content to strengthen their
