Khartoum, June 9, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris has issued a decision appointing Dr. Mahmoud Suleiman Mohamed Bashir as Director General of the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums, based on the recommendation of Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism, Khalid Al-Eiser. Dr. Mahmoud Suleiman is considered one of the young leaders in the field and brings extensive experience within the General Authority for Antiquities and Museums.
