Amman, Sep. 9 (Petra) -Jordan Medical Aid For Palestinians (MAP) launched its humanitarian campaign, themed: ” Future Begins from School,” aimed to support education in a safe and healthy environment for students of all grades.
In a statement on Tuesday, the MAP said this campaign provides preventive and therapeutic medical services, mainly general checkups and hearing and eye tests.
The initiative also offers eyeglasses to underprivileged groups, essential vitamins and medications, identifies and follow up on necessary surgeries, and distributes well-equipped school bags to children.
On its scope, MAP announced the campaign was implemented at Hittin Camp Health Center in Russeifa district, Gaza Camp Health Center in Jerash governorate, Talbiya Camp Health Center in Zizia district, and the mobile clinic in Zarqa Governorate, aimed to reach the largest possible number of needy children of healcare services.
MAP provides care to more than 119,000 patients annually.
