Amman, June 4 (Petra) – The Mexican Embassy in Jordan on Wednesday organized an introductory and dialogue session aimed at enhancing tourism cooperation between the Kingdom and Mexico, with the participation of representatives from over 20 Jordanian travel and tourism agencies.
Mexican Ambassador Jacob Prado delivered a presentation showcasing Mexico’s diverse tourism assets, highlighting investment opportunities in the tourism sector, and underscoring the importance of promoting tourism products and developing joint marketing strategies between the two countries.
The session featured a series of video presentations that highlighted Mexico’s unique tourist destinations, emphasizing the country’s rich cultural and natural heritage from scenic beaches and adventure sites to colonial towns, ancient archaeological landmarks, and modern cities.
The embassy’s consular section also offered an overview of visa application procedures, followed by an interactive Q&A session addressing participants’ inquiries.
A Jordanian tourism delegation visited Mexico in late 2023, where they met with the Mexican Minister of Tourism and representatives of travel agencies to explore opportunities for joint cooperation.
Jordan is expected to host a reciprocal delegation of Mexican tourism officials and representatives in the near future to further strengthen ties among tourism, travel, and aviation sectors in both countries.
