Doha, March 02 (QNA) – HE Minister of Interior, Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), and Chairman of the Civil Defense Council Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani chaired the council meeting on Monday, as part of the ongoing monitoring of current developments.
The council listened to a number of briefings presented by the competent authorities, which discussed the levels of readiness for the strategic stock of food security, energy, education, environment and climate change, cybersecurity, in addition to the vital related sectors, within the framework of strengthening the national preparedness and readiness system and raising the efficiency of joint coordination.
This meeting comes within the framework of keenness to raise the levels of preparedness and enhance coordination and integration between the concerned parties to support the security and safety system and preserve the vital interests of the state. (QNA)
