Doha, July 19 (QNA) – HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Police Academy, presided over the first 2026 meeting of the Academy’s Supreme Council.
Held at the Ministry of Interior headquarters, the meeting was attended by Their Excellencies members of the Supreme Council of the Police Academy.
During the meeting, the Council discussed a number of agenda items related to academic and training matters.
It also approved the conferral of master’s degrees on students who had fulfilled all requirements for the College of Graduate Studies’ master’s programs.
Moreover, the Council reviewed several matters within the Academy’s jurisdiction and adopted the appropriate decisions thereon, as part of efforts to develop the educational and training system, thereby strengthening the Police Academy’s role in preparing qualified security personnel. (QNA)
