Khartoum, 16-3-2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Dirif met in his office on Monday with the Head of the Military Judiciary, Lt. Gen. (Legal) Mahdi Abdelrahman Mohamed, in the presence of the Attorney General of the Republic of Sudan and Head of the Legal Sector, Ala’a-Eddin Ahmed Al-Sayid, and Major (Legal) Mohamed Ibrahim Ali.The meeting addressed the legal services provided by the Ministry of Justice to all state institutions. It also reviewed ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the military judiciary, and to expedite procedures—particularly with regard to claims and the granting of permission to litigate in petitions submitted before the courts, as well as civil lawsuits across all judicial levels.The two sides further discussed a number of related legal issues and highlighted the Ministry of Justice’s active role in exercising its mandate over the state’s legal affairs.BH/BH
