Manila, July 24 (QNA) – HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi held Friday a series of bilateral meetings, on the margin of the commemorative event marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), held in Manila, the Philippines.
His Excellency met with HE Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Maria Theresa P. Lazaro; HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Sugyono; HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Le Hoai Trung; HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Khalilur Rahman; HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Tom Berendsen; and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, Javier Martinez-Acha.
The meetings discussed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and these countries and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to discussing a host of topics of mutual interest. (QNA)
