Amman, May 18 (Petra) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh chaired a meeting on Sunday with sector liaison officers to review progress on the priorities outlined in the executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision for 2026–2029, with a focus on the national objectives assigned to the energy sector.
During the meeting, Kharabsheh emphasized the need to enhance infrastructure development and investment opportunities across key areas of the energy sector particularly in green hydrogen, renewable energy, and mining-related initiatives.
He highlighted the importance of maintaining regular communication with stakeholders across the sector to monitor and update priorities in line with the executive program, and to define measurable targets. He called for the formulation of actionable implementation plans and emphasized the need for continuous follow-up to ensure timely delivery.
Kharabsheh also underscored the need for collective efforts to achieve the broader goals of the Economic Modernization Vision, including boosting economic growth, increasing investment, and generating employment, in accordance with the vision’s implementation timeline.
