Amman, April 6 (Petra) — The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has amended regulations governing the unified tourist ticket, known as the “Jordan Pass,” extending its validity to three months starting from the date of the visitor’s entry into the kingdom.
Under the new 2026 regulations, the validity period will no longer be calculated from the date of purchase, as was previously required. The ministry stated on Monday that the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities now also holds the authority to further extend this period in specific or justified cases.
The ministry said the move is part of ongoing efforts to support the tourism sector, enhance its global competitiveness, and ensure its continued contribution to the national economy.
The decision is anticipated to positively enhance the visitor experience by providing tourists with more flexibility to explore various archaeological and tourist sites during their stay, without being limited by the issuance date.
The ministry added that the adjustment aligns with international best practices and aims to stimulate demand for Jordanian tourism products while modernizing the industry’s regulatory framework.
