Doha, April 01 (QNA) – The Ministry of Defense announced that the State of Qatar was targeted on Wednesday by three cruise missiles from Iran.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the Qatari Armed Forces successfully intercepted two of the missiles, while the third one struck an oil tanker chartered by QatarEnergy in Qatar’s economic waters.
It added that the measures and coordination necessary were taken with the relevant authorities to evacuate the oil tanker, which had a crew of 21 people. No human casualties were reported. (QNA)
