Amman, Jan. 23 (Petra) — Oil product prices in global markets have experienced an increase in the third week of January compared to the second week, according to the latest weekly report from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The report highlighted a 1% rise in the price of 95-octane gasoline, which went up from $740 to $747 per ton, while 90-octane gasoline also saw a slight increase, from $719 to $724.
Diesel prices surged by 4%, rising from $684 to $711, and kerosene saw a similar 4% jump, moving from $716 to $744. Fuel oil prices climbed by 5%, from $465 to $490.
On the other hand, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices dropped by 2%, falling from $631 in December to $618 in January.
Brent crude oil also saw a modest 2% rise, climbing from $80 to $82 per barrel.
