Brussels, June 16, 2026 (SUNA) — Governor of Darfur Region Minni Arko Minnawi met Tuesday with a delegation of the European Union (EU) at its headquarters in the Belgian capital, Brussels, to discuss efforts to unify national dialogue tracks within Sudan, calling for direct EU support for the process. In a post on his official Facebook page, Minnawi said the meeting addressed key issues related to the situation in Sudan, noting that he extended a formal invitation to the “Quint” group to visit Khartoum to assess developments on the ground.
