Amman, Aug 30 (Petra) – Jordan Water Company “Miyahuna” said it had contained a slight change in drinking water quality in a limited number of household connections in the Maghareeb housing area of Salt on Friday evening.
In a company statement on Saturday, Miyahuna said it carried out a comprehensive survey of the affected area, isolating it and disconnecting several household connections. It stressed that all corrective measures are being taken in coordination with specialists from the Water Authority and the Ministry of Health.
Miyahuna added that residents of the area were supplied with water through company tankers.
