MOEHE Concludes Second Seerah Competition

Doha, May 20 (QNA) – Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), represented by the Private Education Affairs Sector, concluded on Wednesday the second edition of the Prophet’s Biography Competition for private schools, organized in cooperation with Eadad International Academy, with the participation of 200 male and female students representing 97 private schools across different educational levels, in the presence of HE the Ministry’s Undersecretary Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi.

Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs Omar Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi emphasized, during the honoring ceremony of winning teams and schools, the importance of instilling the Prophet’s biography in students and explaining it to them, noting that it represents a practical guide and a comprehensive way of life for facing various challenges.

He expressed hope that the values of the noble Seerah, such as honesty, mercy, patience, and good conduct, become daily behaviors that enrich students’ lives and interactions.

The competition aimed to reinforce noble Islamic values derived from the Prophet’s biography and instill them in students through educational methods that combine knowledge, creativity, and positive competition.

It also highlighted the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a role model and recalled key historical events such as the Isra and Mi’raj, the Conquest of Mecca, and various battles, along with his conduct in peace and war, to draw lessons and insights. (QNA)
