Doha, March 06 (QNA) – The Ministry of Interior (MOI) confirmed that working hours in its departments and service centers will continue as previously announced during the holy month of Ramadan.
The ministry explained in a post on its official account on the X platform that many transactions can be completed through the Metrash app and the ministry’s electronic platforms, allowing the public to complete their transactions easily and save time and effort.
Earlier, MOI announced the working hours of its various departments during Ramadan 1447 AH, specifying official working times in several of its service sectors, from Sunday to Thursday.
The ministry indicated that the General Directorate of Passports and its affiliated departments, in addition to the Department of Nationality and Travel Documents and the Criminal Evidence and Information Department, will operate from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Regarding the services of the General Directorate of Traffic, the ministry explained that the Driver Licensing Department (Driving Schools) will receive visitors from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while the Technical Inspection Departments, main building services in Madinat Khalifa, and external services in Al Maamoura will operate from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Car Plate Manufacturing Workshop (Ain Khaled) will operate from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, while the workshops in Al Aqda, Al Wakrah, and Al Mazroua will provide services from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the External Services Department (other branches) from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The ministry noted that the Car Plate Manufacturing Workshop in Ain Khaled will also operate on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
It confirmed that security-related departments and traffic investigation departments will continue working around the clock to ensure the continuity of security services for the public. (QNA)
