(ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today’s trading session
at 5,395.89 points, recording a gain of 25.4 points, equivalent to 0.47
percent, from its previous close of 5,370.44 points.
Trading
activity showed renewed momentum, with total market turnover reaching RO
36,497,322, representing an increase of 10.7 percent compared to the previous
session’s RO 32,969,743.
According to
the official market report released by the MSX, the overall market
capitalization increased by 0.256 percent from the last trading day, settling
at approximately RO 30.92 billion.
Non-Omani investor activity demonstrated
continued confidence, with purchases totalling RO 3,577,000, accounting for
9.80 percent of total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 2,987,000,
representing 8.18 percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net increase
in foreign investment of RO 590,000, equivalent to a 1.62 percent rise in
foreign net investment activity.
