14 Oct (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) registered significant gains in
today’s trading session, with the benchmark MSX 30 Index closing at 5240.08
points, advancing 47.4 points or 0.91 percent from the previous close of
5192.64 points.
Trading
activity showed remarkable momentum, with total turnover reaching RO 60.65
million– a substantial 67.9 percent increase compared to the previous session’s
RO 36.12 million.
Market
capitalization saw positive movement, growing by 0.305 percent to approximately
RO 30.51 billion, according to the MSX’s official market report.
International
investor participation remained robust, with non-Omani investors accounting for
RO 5.27 million in purchases (8.69% of total volume) against sales of RO 3.81
million (6.29%). This resulted in a net foreign investment inflow of RO 1.46
million, representing a 2.40 percent increase in foreign participation.
