10 Nov (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading
session at 5,663.32 points, registering a rise of 90 points, equivalent to 1.62
percent, from its previous close of 5,573.28 points.
Trading
activity witnessed an increase, with total market turnover reaching RO 54,895,017,
representing a rise of 67.5 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 32,773,540.
According
to the official market report released by MSX, overall market capitalization
went up by 0.831 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately
RO 31.68 billion.
Non-Omani
investor purchases totaled RO 4,825,000, accounting for 8.79 percent of total
market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 4,191,000, representing 7.63
percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign
investment of RO 634,000, equivalent to a 1.15 percent increase in foreign net
investment activity.
