Muscat International Forum for Risk Management in Banks, Financial Institutions BeginsMuscat, 6 Oct (ONA) — The deliberations of the third edition of “Muscat International Forum for Risk Management in Banks and Financial Institutions” began today in Muscat.The two-day forum features the participation of speakers and experts from within the Sultanate of Oman and abroad, and is organized by the Central Bank of Oman in cooperation with the Union of Arab Banks.The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Ahmed Jafar Al Masalami, Governor of the Central Bank of Oman.The forum includes discussion sessions focusing on liquidity risk management, the dynamics of digital transformation, credit risk management requirements, cybersecurity risk management, in addition to innovation and digital transformation. A dedicated dialogue session will also be held to discuss ways of enhancing a risk culture and governance practices within banks.— Ends/AH
