Makkah Al Mukarramah, March 12 (QNA) – The Muslim World League strongly condemned the continued closure of the gates of Al Aqsa Mosque to worshipers by the Israeli occupation authorities during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued Thursday, the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League affirmed that this act constitutes an assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.
The organization stressed the need for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to halt the serious and ongoing violations of the sanctity of religious sites in Jerusalem. (QNA)
