KHARTOUM (SUNA) – Nabil Adib, a member of the Sudanese Dialogue Preparatory Committee, affirmed that discussions with the Sumoud Civil Democratic Alliance were still ongoing, noting that the committee had yet to receive a final response from the alliance regarding its participation in the dialogue. In a press statement, Adib explained that the committee had not issued a formal invitation to the Tasis Alliance to participate in the dialogue, as the alliance, headed by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, is classified as a military organisation and therefore does not fall within the categories eligible to participate in the dialogue. He added that invitations to the relevant parties had not yet been completed, making it impossible at this stage to set a precise date for the dialogue to convene.BH/BH
