Digital Economy Program Committee Reviews Initiatives

6 Nov (ONA) — The Technical Committee for the National Digital Economy
Program held its 2025 meeting today, chaired by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani,
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information
Technology for Communications and Information Technology.
During
the meeting, the performance and achievements of the Program during the past
period were reviewed, and the proposed initiatives and targets for the National
Digital Economy Program for the coming period (2026–2030) were discussed. This
contributes to achieving the Sultanate of Oman’s targets in the digital economy
field and enhancing its regional and global competitiveness.
The
meeting emphasized the importance of cooperation among all units of the State’s
administrative apparatus to achieve the objectives and executive programs of
the National Digital Economy Program.
