Havana, August 03 (QNA) – Cuba experienced another nationwide blackout on Sunday after the country’s national electricity grid collapsed, according to the state-run utility, Union Electrica.
The outage follows three nationwide blackouts in July and comes as a US-imposed oil blockade further strains the island’s ageing energy infrastructure.
Since October 2024, Cuba has suffered several nationwide power outages due to malfunctions in power facilities, hurricanes, and other factors. (QNA)
