Amman, Aug. 9 (Petra) — National Centre for Cyber Security (NCSC)
Director-General Mohamed Al-Samadi said on Sunday that responsibility
for protecting data was no longer an individual matter but had become
an institutional responsibility directly affecting business
continuity, adding that the NCSC would remain a supporting partner
for entities seeking to make that transition.

Al-Samadi made the remarks during a workshop titled “Zero Trust
Network Access (ZTNA),” organized on Sunday by Waseela, an
information and communications technology infrastructure integration
company, in partnership with Zscaler, a global cloud network security
company, and in cooperation with the NCSC.

Waseela Jordan General Manager Qusai Al-Tarazi said the workshop
represented a genuine starting point towards collective institutional
responsibility that went beyond individuals to encompass business
continuity itself.

Zscaler Regional Vice President Saeed Agha spoke about the
accelerating pace of digital transformation and the evolving
cybersecurity landscape, stressing the need to keep pace with these
developments and strengthen preparedness to address growing
challenges.

The workshop included sessions on network access and digital
transformation using a zero trust approach, featuring live
demonstrations on real-world platforms and direct access scenarios
displayed on screen. The sessions also provided a comprehensive
overview of the current cybersecurity landscape.

The workshop brought together technology officials and cybersecurity
leaders from government entities and private-sector institutions from
across governorates.
