Northern Australia Hit by 6-Magnitude Earthquake

Canberra, April 5 (QNA) – An earthquake measuring 6.01 on the Richter scale struck the Northern Territory of Australia.

The GFZ German center for geosciences said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, at the intersection of latitude 25.93 degrees south and longitude 130.62 degrees east.

There were no immediate reports of casualties from the earthquake. (QNA)
