Amman, Aug. 9 (Petra) — The Northern Military Region (NMR) foiled an
infiltration attempt Sunday morning after a person tried to illegally
cross the Kingdom’s border along one of its fronts.
After spotting the individual’s wherabouts, border guard forces
applied established rules of engagement, arrested and referred the
inflitrator to the relevant authorities.
In its statement, Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)– Arab Army affirmed it
will continue confronting all forms of infiltration and smuggling
operations “firmly” to safeguard the kingdom’s security and stability
and protect its borders from any threat.
