Jeddah, August 14 (QNA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) warned of the escalating organized violence by extremist settlers, carried out under the protection of Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank, including the ongoing siege and attacks on Qusra, south of Nablus.
The OIC said the escalation is part of broader crimes including killings, settlement expansion, annexation, infrastructure destruction in Gaza and the West Bank, attacks on refugee camps, and attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians, in violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions.
It called on the international community to take diplomatic, legal and economic measures to pressure Israel to halt these systematic crimes and stressed the need to activate international justice mechanisms to hold perpetrators accountable under international criminal law. (QNA)
