Singapore, August 28 (QNA) – Oil prices fell today, snapping a two-week winning streak, as markets continued to monitor developments in the Middle East amid stalled talks between the United States and Iran.
Brent crude futures declined by 25 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $89.45 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude futures slipped by 22 cents, also 0.3 percent, to $83.31 a barrel.
Both benchmarks are set to close the week lower, with Brent down about 5.3 percent and West Texas Intermediate lower by 4.3 percent. (QNA)
