Secures 11 Awards in Fourth Season of Gulf Smart Investor Award

Riyadh,
31 Aug 2026 (ONA) – The Sultanate of Oman garnered 11 awards in the fourth
season of the Gulf Smart Investor Award, organized by the securities market
regulatory authorities of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states,
during the award ceremony held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The
fourth season of the award saw extensive participation exceeding 300,000
entries from across the GCC, and featured four main competition tracks, namely
writing, photography, drawing, and video production, targeting three
categories: school students, university students, and individuals.

Outstanding
Omani entries secured 11 awards across the various tracks and categories. In
the writing track, four positions were achieved. Rawd Al Farsi claimed first
place in the school category, Duja Al Ma’ani secured third place in the
university category, while Sarah Al Kalbani achieved first place and Sajiya Al
Isma’ili secured second place in the individuals category.

In
the photography track, Tasneem Al Sabahi won first place and Al Yaqeen Al Salmi
secured third place in the school category, while Mawda Al Salmani achieved
first place in the university category, and Alia Al Abri won first place in the
individuals category.

In
the drawing track, Mariya Al Sudairi secured first place in the university
category.

In
the video track, Salim Al Ya’qoubi won first place and Zaha Al Mas’udi secured
fourth place in the school category.

The
Gulf Smart Investor Award falls within the framework of Gulf financial and
investment awareness and literacy initiatives. It aims to encourage creative
young talents to produce creative works and content that contribute to
simplifying financial and investment concepts and enhancing awareness of sound
investment practices.

Oman’s
participation in the fourth season and the results achieved by the winners
reflect the level of creativity and excellence possessed by Omani talents, as
well as their presence in Gulf initiatives aimed at promoting financial and
investment literacy across all segments of society.
