Omani Delegation Visits UAE Space Agency
Abu Dhabi, 5 Aug (ONA) — An Omani delegation headed by Dr.
Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport,
Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology,
today made an official visit to the UAE Space Agency of the United Arab
Emirates and some key facilities related to the UAE space sector.
The visit aimed to enhance joint cooperation between the
Sultanate of Oman and the UAE and view the accomplishments and successful
experiences of the UAE in developing this strategic sector. It also sought to explore opportunities for
cooperation and partnerships between academic institutions and specialized
companies in the two countries.
The visit embodies the Ministry’s commitment to enhance the
Sultanate of Oman’s presence on the arena of the space sector, notably by establishing
strategic partnerships and exchanging expertise with leading countries in a manner that contributes to the development of national capabilities and the realization of an ambitious future
vision.
