Gaza, April 17 (QNA) – One Palestinian was martyred and two others were injured on Friday after Israeli occupation forces shelled a water desalination plant east of Gaza City.
According to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), an Israeli drone targeted a desalination facility in Shuja’iyya neighborhood, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
It added that Israeli occupation military vehicles opened heavy fire in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,344 martyred and 172,242 injured.
The total number of fatalities since the ceasefire on October 11 has also risen to 765, with 2,140 injured, while 760 bodies have been recovered. (QNA)
