New York, Sept 8 (Petra) – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said Monday that more than 80 percent of Gaza is either under evacuation orders or designated as military zones by Israel.
In its daily report, the office noted that as the Israeli occupation army instructs residents to leave parts of southern Gaza City, people are in urgent need of food, water, and shelter supplies.
OCHA added that although humanitarian workers have managed to deliver a limited number of tents in recent weeks, the needs far exceed what is available. More aid is required to meet the needs of hundreds of thousands of people across Gaza, particularly amid repeated displacements.
