Salt, Mar. 1 (Petra) – Al Balqa Applied University (BAU) on Sunday announced results of the Shamel exam, the annual comprehensive final exam for community college students, for the 2026 winter session.
In a press conference, the BAU said the overall pass rate for this session stood at 60.6%, as 4,959 students passed out of 8,181 applicants who sat for the exam, while 250 others were absent.
55 university colleges and intermediate colleges participated in the exam, across 120 academic specializations. 71 violations of exam regulations were recorded, according to the BAU data.
Noting availability of the results via its official channels, the university urged students to contact their respective colleges for any inquiries within the established legal timeframes.
