Pakistan, Indonesia Call for De-Escalation in Middle East, Urge Diplomacy

Islamabad, March 5 (QNA) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto today called on all parties to exercise restraint and de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, and to resolve disputes through dialogue and diplomacy.

During a telephone call, the two leaders expressed their concern over the escalating tensions in the region, condemning Iranian attacks on Gulf states and US-Israeli attacks on Iran.

They also discussed developments in Pakistani-Afghan relations following Islamabad’s recent military escalation in several areas of its neighboring country. (QNA)
