Islamabad, May 17 (QNA) – The Pakistani military warned on Sunday against any attempt to target Pakistan, stressing that such actions could lead to consequences that metastasize beyond the geography.
In a statement, the military recalled that Pakistan is a proclaimed nuclear nation and an important part of the geography and history of South Asia.
It further cautioned against the menace of plunging South Asia into a crisis or a new war, as well as its devastating consequences.
The statement added that India should fully recognize Pakistan’s strategic significance and pursue peaceful coexistence, noting that Pakistan is truly an influential nation on the global stage.
In May 2025, India and Pakistan declared a ceasefire following talks brokered by the United States to end the armed conflict between the two nations. (QNA)
