Occupied Jerusalem, August 21 (QNA) – A Palestinian boy was Martyred and several others were injured or arrested on Friday during a series of attacks and raids by Israeli forces and settlers across the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the boy succumbed to wounds sustained after being shot by settlers in the town of Saeer, northeast of Hebron.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that armed settlers attacked homes in Khirbet Hamroush, firing live ammunition at residents. An elderly man was also injured in the attack.
In Hebron, five Palestinians were injured in settler attacks, while Israeli forces arrested seven others. Settlers also attacked a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance, damaging its windows and preventing it from reaching the injured.
In other parts of the West Bank, Israeli forces raided villages in Nablus and Tulkarm, searched homes and detained residents, while settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles and residents in areas around Ramallah and Nablus.
In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested several Palestinians during raids on homes, including two people whose son was reportedly being pressured to surrender.
The latest incidents come amid continued Israeli military raids, arrests and settler attacks across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, as well as the closure of roads and entrances and attacks on Palestinian property. (QNA)
