Amman, Jan. 18 (Petra) – A delegation from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, led by the Director of Cooperation and Planning at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, visited the Jordanian Field Hospital (South Gaza/5) on Saturday. They were received by the hospital’s commander and director.
The commander stated that the field hospital was established under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, as a contribution from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to assist the people of Gaza and alleviate the humanitarian suffering they are experiencing due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.
The hospital director emphasized that the Jordanian field hospital in South Gaza aims to provide emergency medical services and healthcare to residents of Gaza. It operates with a fully integrated medical team working around the clock to meet patients’ needs and ease their suffering. The hospital is supplied with medications and medical equipment through land convoys.
The delegation expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah and the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) – Arab Army for their efforts in providing food, medical aid, and support to the resilience of Gaza’s residents during the Israeli aggression. They also extended thanks to the medical and administrative staff for their healthcare and treatment services offered to the hospital’s patients.
