Ramallah, March 11 (QNA) – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories in a phone call today with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

The talks addressed the escalating Israeli measures and settler attacks, as well as the risks posed by annexation plans and measures, in addition to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza due to the continued closure of crossings and the shortage of relief supplies.

During the call, Mustafa stressed the need to intensify international efforts and exert greater pressure to end the Israeli financial blockade and release the withheld Palestinian tax revenues.

For his part, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands affirmed his country’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with Palestine and reiterated its rejection of unilateral Israeli measures and the escalation of settler attacks. He also stressed the pivotal role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the occupied Palestinian territories. (QNA)
