Gaza, April 19 (QNA) – A young man was martyred on Sunday morning after being shot by Israeli forces in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to WAFA News Agency citing medical sources, Israeli forces fired live ammunition at the young man while he was in the Halawa displacement camp in the town.
A Palestinian was also injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire west of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation army continued to violate the ceasefire agreement, as helicopters opened fire in the central Gaza Strip, while naval vessels shelled the sea off the city of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,549 martyrs, with 172,274 injured.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that since the ceasefire last October, the total number of martyrs has reached 773, with 2,171 injuries. (QNA)
