Gaza, 10 Aug (ONA) — A number of Palestinian citizens were martyred and others injured today after the Israeli occupation forces targeted people waiting for aid.
A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving five martyred people and three injured others as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ targeting of civilian gatherings near the aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street, south of the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA).
A citizen was also martyred and several others waiting for aid were injured in Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sources in Gaza hospitals announced the martyrdom of 17 citizens by Israeli army fire in various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn today, noting that among today’s martyred people are 11 people waiting for aid in the central and southern Gaza Strip. — Ends/AH
