Doha, May 19 (QNA) – The Police Academy, represented by the Police Institute, celebrated the conclusion of a number of training and specialized courses for the second quarter of 2026.
The celebration ceremony was held in the presence of HE Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal, the General Supervisor of the Police Academy, along with several department directors and representatives from security and military entities.
During the second quarter of 2026, the Police Institute implemented a series of training and specialized courses involving 683 trainees from various security and military entities across the country, as part of efforts to enhance readiness and raise professional and specialized competencies.
The training programs included courses in several fields, including commando training, diving, rapid intervention, inspection, cybersecurity, and rapid response, in addition to promotion and specialized qualification courses, in cooperation with specialized international training entities.
The ceremony also featured the honoring of outstanding trainees, while graduates staged a military parade accompanied by the musical band, in addition to presenting field demonstrations and simulations of security and protection operations that reflected advanced levels of readiness and professional competence in accordance with the latest training standards.
Following the ceremony, attendees visited the accompanying exhibition dedicated to the commando course, which showcased field training methods and featured a range of equipment and tools used in training and qualification programs. (QNA)
