Amman, Dec. 11 (Petra) – Public Security Director Major General Obaidullah Maayta met on Thursday with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Jordan, Stella Kloth, to discuss mechanisms for strengthening joint security cooperation between the two sides.
Maayta underscored the longstanding relations between the two countries across multiple fields, highlighting the importance of exchanging policing expertise and operational experience between their security agencies. He said such cooperation contributes to reinforcing security and social stability while supporting joint efforts to combat crime in all its forms.
Kluth commended the significant progress achieved by the Public Security Directorate across its various units and specializations. She stressed her country’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination with the Directorate, noting the PSD’s efficiency and professionalism at the regional level.
