Amman, March 11 (Petra) — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Wednesday issued a circular announcing the Eid al-Fitr holiday for public sector institutions.
According to the circular, the holiday will begin on the morning of Friday, March 20, and continue until the evening of Monday, March 23.
The decision applies to all ministries, government departments, public institutions and agencies, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies.
The circular excludes ministries and government entities whose operational requirements necessitate continued work during the holiday period.
