Khartoum, April 10, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met with a group of Sudanese academics, intellectuals, and cultural figures (“Proposal Group”), in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Professor Ahmed Modawi Musa. Vice-Chancellor of Al-Neelain University, Professor Al-Hadi Adam Mohammed Ibrahim, said the meeting discussed a proposed vision for Sudan’s renaissance over the next 50 years. He noted that the group presented ongoing efforts to develop the vision and preparations for a preparatory meeting to launch and promote it nationwide. Professor Al-Hadi said the group seeks to refine the vision through broad national participation, adding that the Prime Minister directed that it “must be practical and implementable, while taking into account previous national efforts.”He affirmed the group’s readiness to undertake any tasks related to preparing and implementing the vision.
