KHARTOUM, August 18, 2026 (SUNA) — Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris issued a decision on Tuesday exempting all imported components of solar energy systems intended for personal use from customs duties, taxes and all other government fees. The decision directs the Ministries of Finance, Energy, and Industry and Trade, the Central Bank of Sudan, the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization, and all other relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the decision.BH/BH
