Khartoum, 14 June 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris has issued a directive to improve the working conditions of staff at the National Curriculum and Educational Research Center, bringing their status in line with that of university professors. He also instructed that the Center’s land be protected from any encroachment. This came during a meeting held in Khartoum with the Minister of Education and National Pedagogy Dr. Al-Tohami Al-Zain Hajar and the Director of the National Curriculum and Educational Research Center Dr. Muawiya Qashi. In a press statement, the Minister of Education said the Prime Minister pledged during the meeting to address all obstacles facing the Center to enable it to fully carry out its mandated role.
